Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Scope

This policy applies to every hosting, email, domain, SSL, VPS and server service supplied by IndianSoftwares, and to anyone you allow to use them.

Prohibited content and activity

You may not use our services to host, send or link to: unlawful content under Indian law; malware, phishing or fraud; unsolicited bulk email (spam); copyright- or trademark-infringing material; child sexual abuse material; content that incites violence or hatred; or anything that violates the rights of others.

You may not attack, scan or overload any network or server, share access credentials for resale, mine cryptocurrency on shared hosting, or run open proxies, IRC bots or file-sharing hubs on shared plans.

Fair use on shared plans

"Unlimited" resources on shared and WordPress plans are subject to fair use for a normal website. Sustained CPU, memory, inode or I/O usage that degrades the server for other customers may be limited, and we will ask you to upgrade to a VPS or cloud plan.

Email

Mail may only be sent to recipients who have opted in. Bulk or marketing mail must use a dedicated sending service. Mailboxes that trigger spam-list entries may be suspended to protect deliverability for all customers.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate a service that breaches this policy, with notice where practicable and immediately where the breach endangers other customers or exposes us to legal liability. Fees for the remaining term are not refunded in such cases.

Reporting abuse

Report abuse of any IndianSoftwares service to sales@indiansoftwares.com with the URL or headers involved.
